On Deck 20, Norwegian Joy offers one of the best (if not the top) laser tag experiences at sea. Grab your gun and head aboard a sci-fi-worthy spaceship to face off against your family and fellow cruisers in a battle of epic proportions. Perfect for families, these staterooms are near the kids' area and include two single beds that convert to a queen, a bathtub and additional bedding that can accommodate three guests. These staterooms include two lower beds that convert to a queen-size bed and are aft-facing, so the view from your private balcony is amazing. The 4200-passenger NCL Joy features an expanded Haven – the line’s concept “ship within a ship”. This space (accessible only by keycard) boasts an outdoor terrace, private restaurant, courtyard area with retractable roof pool, whirlpools, spa treatment rooms, separate sauna, private sundeck.
The bar was always busy as it looks down onto the Atrium area where there was always some form of entertainment or presentation going on. At the rear of the bar there was a separate seating area if you wanted to watch the TV sports channels. We found ourselves in the District Brewhouse a lot on this cruise. It has a nice “pub” feel and provided live music with piano-bar singalong-style entertainment each night.
